Cabin Quest 2011 - Gull Lake Brainerd, MN Photography

Derek contacted me earlier this spring with the possibility of having me come out to photograph "Cabin Quest." Cabin Quest is an annual trip where a group of friends comes from all over the country to Gull Lake to spend the weekend. This was their 25th year doing Cabin Quest.

I find traditions like that so awesome. My mom has a core group of friends that she's had since junior high, and they still get together multiple times a year. The fact that this group has continued to have this annual get together for 25 years is so great. I was thrilled to be able to come out and photograph them.

To all of the Questers: thank you for welcoming me so warmly. I hope you had a great rest of your vacation, and that the countdown is on for next year's 26th annual trip!
