Today is the day I've been looking forward to for a month or two now.

It's the day I leave for a 4 day photography workshop in Duluth, put on by the very talented Biff Ulm of VADA Photography here in the lakes area.

I signed up for this workshop on a whim - meaning I always think about how neat it would be to go to something like this and I always, always chicken out or talk myself out of doing it. But this time, I knew I needed to go. So, I signed up. Once the money's paid, it's much harder to back out, right?

I'm still fighting off the last of my bout with influenza, and I am a little more sluggish and weak than usual. But that won't stop me. I am not contagious anymore and I am determined to squeeze every little itty bitty last drop of knowledge, insight, information and inspiration than I can out of these 4 days. I have no doubts that it will be fun, challenging, exciting, anxiety-producing and so, so worthwhile. My hope is to come back home on Wednesday with new ideas for my business, with new insight as to how to make things more efficient, and ideas for how to make the Laura Radniecki Images experience as awesome as it can be for my clients.

If you think of me in the next four days, say a prayer or two. For both continued improvement in my health, and for this workshop. All 11 of us participants who are excited and eager to learn, and Biff, who is graciously willing to share his insight and knowledge from 13+ yrs in the industry - we could all use your prayers.
