There is an obvious time for posed and formal portraits. I have written lots of posts with tips on improving posed portraits, and getting the most out of those shots.
Sometimes though, it's time to just let loose and play.
Today's tip is to encourage you to let your subjects play. Laugh, tickle, wrestle, goof around. Don't be serious. Don't worry about taking a 'perfect' photo.
Instead, have FUN! You will capture beautiful, remarkable and memorable photos this way. I promise.
P.S. The last two photos came from a session celebrating that little one's birthday. She celebrated by smearing frosting all over her mom and dad's faces. I was laughing so hard I could barely breathe. See - memorable photos!!
