Look For The Magic

Magic is real.

Did you know that?

I'm not talking Abracadabra and being cut in half inside a box only to walk out ok. Although card tricks are pretty awesome if done well.

I'm talking about magic – the majestic, surreal, amazing miracles that happened every single day, all around us. All we have to do is look.

The other day, on the afternoon of my birthday, Matt and I took a drive to a local boat landing because I wanted to check out the ice that is forming daily. I found magic there.

Ice so clear, you can see all the way to the bottom, the way the setting sunshine casts an orange glow on everything it touches, the fact that we can walk on water in the wintertime... It is all magic.
