Becca and Seth's wedding was incredibly beautiful. Not only was the day full of awesome little details like homemade caramel corn on the tables for the guests and sweet shoes for the groomsmen, but everywhere I looked, there was true happiness exploding in all directions. There were no nerves on Becca or Seth's minds. All they wanted to do was to see each other and to get married. And to savor and soak up every single second of their wedding day. In a church surrounded by their family and friends, and in a gorgeous reception hall full of smiles and laughter, Becca and Seth celebrated becoming Mr. and Mrs. Engberg!
They both have the greatest smiles! A photographer's dream.
After the ceremony, the wedding party made a quick stop at a local pub and I brought Becca and Seth to the actual White Bear Lake for a few more photos.
After that, it was on to the reception, which was at the
Dellwood Country Club. What a beautiful location for a reception!
After a few of the usual glass clinks and kisses, Becca and Seth stated their kissing rule - in order for them to kiss when the glasses click, a song has to be sang with the word LOVE in it.
The speeches were full of laughs and smiles, which I had come to expect and appreciate from Becca and Seth.
As I looked out the window of the reception hall, the sun was sinking lower on the horizon line. Before the dance began, we slipped out for a few last photos of Mr. and Mrs. Engberg together.
Then, it was dance time.
Becca and Seth: it was an honor to be a part of your wedding day, to be able to photograph your joy and excitement as the day unfolded. Every single person in your presence knows that you two are made for each other. I wish you all the best in your new adventures in Florida, and I'll be thoroughly jealous of your great weather when winter comes! xx, Laura
I love the shot of the groom grinning and the sky was beautiful!
