The gloomy weather forecast didn't phase Crystal and Josh though. They made the decision to have their ceremony indoors and took it all in stride. Rain or no rain, this was their wedding day and they weren't going to let anything wreck it.

The energy in the bridal suite was contagious as Crystal's bridesmaid worked on her hair. She kept glancing at her reflection in the mirror, her expression saying, "I can't believe I'm getting married today!"

While his gorgeous bride-to-be was stepping into her dress, Josh was anxiously waiting for the ceremony to begin. Crystal really wanted to wait until the ceremony for Josh to see her, so we designated time after the ceremony for portraits. To give Josh something to do and to get a jumpstart on the formals, I snapped a few of Josh while he waited.

Just as the ceremony was ending, the prayers I had been saying all day [and the prayers I had commissioned from my family too] were answered - the rain stopped! The clouds parted and the sun peaked out! On a day when the rain forecast was constant, I was shocked and thrilled. What a great wedding present for Crystal and Josh!
[P.S. The next photo is of the birdseed shower their guests gave them as they exited the ceremony.]

The two flower girls didn't know each other prior to the rehearsal the evening before. They became fast friends!

After taking portraits in the beautiful evening sunshine, it was time to join the guests in the reception hall. Crystal had planned every detail to perfection, from the seating chart and the table decor, to the "Ring This Bell" for the kisses and a beautifully unique cake.

I'm 99% positive that Facebook told me Josh and Crystal took dance lessons in preparation for their wedding. They moved so elegantly and romantically out on the dance floor.

Then the fun started. Josh's aunts were hilarious on the dance floor. I could hardly hold the camera still because I was laughing so hard.
