It's The Simple Things In Life

The other day, I saw the sun shining outside so I walked to our patio door and slid it open. I looked outside and promptly let out a huge squeal.
"DANDELIONS!!"
Matt told me not to yell like that because he thought something was wrong.
I know they are considered weeds and I know they are crazy annoying. But these were the first dandelions I had seen all year, and pretty much first 'flower' I had seen yet. 




Even though we're sure to have a bajillion dandelions all across the grass any day now, and pretty soon we'll have little tiny ants sniffing out the crumbs we've dropped under the couch over the winter, for now - I'm savoring these signs of spring.
