Swanson Family - Lifestyle Family Photography

Amy contacted me earlier this summer and asked if I would be free to join her siblings and their families as they celebrated their parent's 40th wedding anniversary by vacationing all together up at a cabin. [Holy run on sentence! Don't judge.]

I absolutely love photographing events that center around such an amazing accomplishment - 4 decades of love and companionship - which resulted in ALL of the people in the photos below. How great is that? I told Amy I was absolutely game and we polished the details.

Despite a little driving hitch [I don't own a gps and my phone is not on the web], I found the absolutely STUNNING cabin that the whole family had rented for the weekend. It was up on the Whitefish chain, and the drive out to it was beautiful. I drove about 4 mph so I could soak in the scenery. We were blessed with perfect temperatures, a breeze, and almost all smiley kids. It was a wonderful way to spend a summer Saturday morning in the Brainerd Lakes Area.
