I'm going to get one one day too; mark my words.
In the time between now and when I get one someday, I need a way to protect my camera, but still allow me to take it with me [almost] everywhere.
I decided I was going to dig up my inner seamstress who has been laying dormant for years. Ok, a decade - at least. I was going to make my own camera wrap.
Right.
Long story short, it was an adventure. I underestimated where to stitch. Then, I overestimated how much fabric I should leave to sew my seams. The machine jammed up a few times. But I finished.
In the end, I have a camera wrap that will serve its humble purpose until I can get myself an Epiphanie bag.
The highlight of the creative endeavor? My dad was helping me remember how to use the machine. We needed to have a bobbin of black thread. Instead of use the machine's capability to wind the bobbin, we did it like a Hensel would.
See below.

That's how we do things in the Hensel household. It worked fantastic too.
The finished product:

Live and enjoy,
Laura
Oh, I love it! If I could sew, I would make one. It would be handy to have. :)
