Hello everyone! Big things are happening in the Radniecki house! First [not to exciting] is that Matt has overnight duty, so I'm here at home, kicking back by myself. Haha, ok, that's not the big exciting news, so I'll move right on.
Today is Aug 15th, so that means that we have a month and 10 days left here. Matt finished his last day of work/starts his terminal leave on September 23rd so he has less than 5 1/2 weeks left of work. We will be in CA in a day shy of 6 weeks! Get ready, you CA folk! :) [We couldn't be more excited!]
Other news on our home front is that I have started a photography business and it has a new look and name : Laura Radniecki Images. If you wish to follow that blog as well, you can find it at http://lauraradnieckiimages.blogspot.com so bookmark it or check it at your own will. I update it with photos whenever I have new material. I feel like God is giving me positive feedback about this whole endeavor, so I will follow it as far as I can. If I continue to receive the positive feedback and energy, than I'll keep going with it! I ask for your prayers and thoughts in this exciting and anxious time as I start on a brand new and totally uncharted road. I am so excited to see where it leads though!
My sister and her fiancee will be arriving for their week long visit in a week and a half. I am so excited to show them around the island; having new eyes to see the island just perpetuates my love and appreciation of it too. Beach and North Shore and Waikiki - here we come!
Fall is quickly approaching back in MN, or so I've been told. It seems summer came at last though, bringing with it some warm air. My mom is back at school now, preparing for yet another year at the middle school. I can't believe that Matt's sister Lynda will be graduating from high school this year, as will his uncle Ben. How crazy... that sure makes me feel OLD! So does knowing I'll be turning 24 in December! Aghh! Time is FLYING!
Well, that's about all I have to update on for now. Exciting things happening, yet the same old too. We try to enjoy the time here while anxiously awaiting the fall and the adventures that are in store then. Stay tuned for more later! In the mean time, God bless and enjoy the rest of the lovely, lazy summer!
