Fast-forward three years - Ian took Whitney on a very special date. They packed wine and snacks, brought along their dog Chloe, and went to the top of a local ski hill for a picnic. As the sun was setting, Ian knelt down on one knee and asked Whitney to marry him. Clearly, she said yes.
On a warm and breezy Saturday in June, Ian anxiously dressed in his tux while miles away, Whitney stepped into her dress. Both of them were beyond excited and just wanted to be see each other. Finally, after a year of waiting, it was their wedding day. Their Wedding Day was here.
Whitney walked down the aisle on the arm of her dad and met Ian at the end. They promised each other forever while their closest family and friends looked on. Then, after the ceremony and a quick limousine ride around Gull Lake, they arrived at their reception at Grand View Lodge. Music and laughter filled the room late into the night, as everyone celebrated the new Mr. and Mrs. Ulrich!
Whitney and Ian - words can't describe my thanks for letting me photograph your wedding day. It was truly an honor to be a part of the day, and I hope these images always remind you exactly what it felt like on the day you became husband and wife. I wish you all the best in your life together! xoxo, Laura
