The Stars Are Out Tonight 2012

Every year, the Brainerd Area Catholic Churches put on a talent show of sorts as a fundraiser for the area youth. This show is called the Stars Are Out Tonight and this year was the 11th [right, Amy?] in a long and entertaining string of shows.

I remember going to one of the first shows maybe 7 or 8 years ago, and I attended the 2011 show as well.

It is a fun family evening, full of snacks, performers and an awesome silent auction, held at Forestview Middle School.

This year, I was asked to photograph the event, and I happily agreed.

The acts were entertaining and hilarious, the popcorn smelled amazing and people were bidding on the auction items like crazy. Plus, it's always fun to see our local priests up on stage, singing and playing the drums! Fr. Tony and Fr. Steve have some awesome musical talent!
