Hoarfrost and a Magic World
A few days ago, I woke up to a magic world. As I passed a window on my way to breakfast, I looked outside and gasped, "Wow!" Everywhere I looked, everything was covered in little white crystals: hoarfrost. Jagged spikes of ice hung on trees, branches, fence posts and leaves. I immediately took my camera outside before the sun could make the spikes disappear.
On that frosty morning, I paused and took in everything around me. I was fully present and fully aware. I appreciated winter and the unique beauty that comes with it.
