Puppy Love

Our friends have been anxiously waiting to get a dog, but living in an apartment with a no-dog policy was hindering that dream. Last weekend, they moved out of the apartment into a house, and picked up their puppy, all in a 3 day timeframe.

I adore puppies. Matt and I don't have animals and I don't know if we will [I never grew up with a dog, just a cat, and Matt has bad allergies to everything] but that doesn't keep me from absolutely loving cute little cuddly puppies. Yesterday, I went to meet little Tikka [Tee-ka.] She is just the cutest thing I have ever seen in my whole life.

Apparently she kept the whole house awake the night before, so Michelle was determined to wear her out and make her sleepy. It worked well because when I got there, Tikka was OUT COLD. I would pet her a little, try to pick her up and bug her a little, and she'd just wake up, walk to a new spot, and lay down to sleep more.

Even a sleeping puppy melts my heart.
