Suzie & Mike - Brainerd, MN Engagement Photography

I knew I'd like Suzie and Mike even before I met them. When Suzie told me that she and Mike LOVE fishing and wanted to bring fishing poles for their engagement photo session, I was hooked! Like true Minnesota weather though, the session we'd planned for the fall was horribly rained out so we postponed for this spring. And then, of course, the forecast turned sour and we had to bump up our shoot date a day sooner to avoid another solidly rainy day. But we lucked out and were blessed with a beautiful evening of mild temperatures and no rain for their evening photo session in the Brainerd Lakes Area. Suzie and Mike brought up their new boat, their fishing poles and their cute dog Odin for the session and we had a blast. I love that fishing is such a part of their life together, and that they wanted to incorporate it into their engagement photos.

Suzie and Mike - thank you for outsmarting the weather with me, and for showing off your new boat! I can't wait for your wedding, it is going to be so wonderful. xx, Laura
