There are countless books out there on business, finance, self-help and a vast array of other topics. I like reading these kinds of books and intend to tell you about a few that I've recently read and liked, but for now, I want to share a different type of book.
This book is written by an entrepreneur and respected businessman who lives on Oahu, Richie Norton. His wife, Natalie, is a well known photographer who's work I appreciate and admire. They are young, barely even thirty, and have built very successful lives for themselves and their children. They lost their infant son in January of 2010 to pertussis, and as I've watched their journey though grief from afar, I am amazed at the resilience and strength they have. They have come out of this experience with a deeper faith, with a greater joy for life, and with a wider appreciation for other people. They are amazing role models.
I saw on Twitter a few months ago that Natalie said she went away for a few weeks and in the meantime, Richie wrote a book. For real.
He wrote a book about taking control of your future, in both your business and your life. He talks about how the old way of doing things isn't good enough anymore, and he encourages people to go further, to do more. It's a fast read and very inspiring.
You can find his eBook available as a free download, HERE.
Take a look and let his words really sink in and make you think. It got my mind stirring!
