Simplify and Giveaway

Ok guys, I have a confession.

I am a packrat.
I am a mad crafter.
I am slightly [or moderately] obsessive.
I am type A.

So where does this leave me?

It leaves me, addicted to crafts, having a million billion projects that I'd like to do, making wayyy more than is practical when I do a craft, living in a 2 bedroom apartment, filled to the brim with stuff. My stuff. Stuff that doesn't need to be kept to myself.

I have these dreams of living simply. Dreams of giving away things that I don't NEED, and living a more simple existence. I know, you can laugh now, if you know me. But I really do want that!

I'm sitting here writing this, on a crazy messy craft table, surrounded by piles of my creative endeavors. I can feel a couple plastic tubs under the table, as my feet bump them. These tubs are filled with scrapbook and photo matting supplies.

I am drowning in my own stuff. Ok, I'm not drowning. Don't call the show Hoarders on me. It's not that bad. I just have a lot of stuff. More than I need.

So, how does this relate to you? I have decided that for the rest of December, I want to give away my extras. I can't make more crafts until I give away some of the ones I've already made. These are things that you can either keep for yourself or give away as gifts. I won't ask or judge. The choice is up to you!

I'll be doing some giveaways on the blog here, but most of them will be done over on the Laura Radniecki Images Facebook Page. The Facebook page is a little more interactive, easier to comment. You have to 'Like' the LRI page first and then you participate in the giveaways. But for those of you who don't have Facebook, there will be opportunities for giveaways here too.

The first giveaways are going to be of matted photos from our 2009 year of travel. There are several photos from our time in Hawaii, as well as a few from the Badlands, Arches National Park in Utah, and along the Florida Panhandle. These photos are matted, ready to frame. Some will be 5x7 prints, matted to 8x10 size. Others will be 8x10 prints, matted to 11x14 size.

I'm also up to my eyeballs in making these amazing fabric rosettes, so the next bunch of giveaways, after the prints, will be more female-directed. The rosettes can be worn as pins, as hair clips, clipped onto hats to spice them up, or some will be sewed onto headbands. Details on that to come, when I finish up some more. Here are some teaser photos of them.
