Clay and Julie's wedding was no different. I felt unbelievably honored to be a part of their day; to be there when Julie stepped into her dress and her mom and sister both looked at her with tears glistening in their eyes, whispering "You look so beautiful." To be able to capture the instant that Clay saw Julie for the first time, and the awe and love that passed between them, there in the church where they would become husband and wife. To be able to watch the entire congregation of guests physically reach out in love and support for Julie and Clay as they were just minutes away from saying their vows. To be able to catch the smiles and happy tears of those who love Julie and Clay most.
The biggest honor of the day was to witness Julie and Clay's unwavering love for yes, each other, but more importantly, for God. Their faith is amazing. Many people strive to put God in the center of their marriages. It's a struggle sometimes to do that, in a world where there are so many earthly influences. But I truly believe that Julie and Clay have their relationship centered around God, and it's truly an inspiration to see.
Julie and Clay - I am so thankful that you chose me to photograph your wedding day. Every bit of the day will full of love, faith, and beauty. You two are so perfect for each other, and like I said, you are an inspiration and an example of what a marriage centered around God should look like. I can't wait to see what the future holds for your marriage, and I wish you all the best in your adventure in Illinois! xoxo, Laura
Love these, Laura! I think these are my favorite from the weddings you have done already. Awesome job!

Hi, I thought I'd quick scroll through these, but had to stop in and tell you how amazing those flowers are, and I love the shot of the shoes hanging on the fence. How creative! Wonderful photos, like always.
