When she mentioned that she wanted to get her family together for a photo shoot, I was thrilled. The day came and I got a text a few hours before our scheduled start time. "So there's a storm coming our way..." it said. By the time I exited the restaurant where I was eating, the clouds were dark and wayyy ominous looking. I am kind of a chicken with storms, so I went straight home, looked at the radar and thought we might have to reschedule. The greens, yellows and reds were heading straight towards us.
Bre is braver than I am, so she suggested we give it time and see if it would pass. It passed just north of us, with lots of lightening and about 15 seconds of rain. By the time we got to the beach, the sun was peeking out in a golden stream and I knew we'd be all right. Bre was right - the weather turned out perfect and beautiful. Sure, there was so much static in the air that all of our hair was standing STRAIGHT up [yeah, like a FOOT up in the air!!], but we managed!
This family is awesome. They laugh together, they cherish each other. The 4 kids are basically 2 sets of twins - not really, but they sure look like it. You can feel the love between their parents, even though they've been married for years. I love that - I want my marriage to be like that in 20+ years.
Olson family: thanks for smiling for me, for playing along and enjoying yourselves.
Enjoy! ♥
