Ava and Addie's Birthday Extravaganza

I'm a little past due in posting this series, but better late than never! My friend Ashlee has two daughters - Ava and Addie - who are 11 months to the day apart. For convenience in getting the entire family together for a party, Ashlee and Nick hosted a joint birthday celebration in late April. The day was a hit, as were all of the goodies the girls got. Apparently, their favorite was the sleeping bags Mom and Dad got them, as I hear they have been using them often in the days since.

My favorite part was the goggles, but sadly, Ava was too fast for me and I missed a key photo opportunity of her with the goggles on. This summer at the beach, perhaps...

One day, it will be Matt and I hosting a party like this for our own little ones. Until then, our friends' kids will do... In fact, we're attending Maddie's [the little girl in the picture below] 1st birthday this weekend. Can't wait!
